Bugs Comrade Global janitor 01/18/2021 (Mon) 20:38:21 No. 9460
The site will go through a period of teething issues, please make note of technical issues that you notice here. Problems right now that I know of: - movies don't upload fixed - reporting always returns "wrong or expired captcha" fixed - "divBanCaptcha_location" at the bottom of pages. fixed - clicking the "catalog" link from the "moderate thread" view returns a 404

>>9475 What about them? Can you clarify your question?
>>9478 most of threads on /edu/, for example are the ones without pictures. will you fix it?
I can't report posts. It always says "wrong answer or expired captcha", but my answers were correct and the captcha didn't expire.
>>9484 Same here. Fix it ASAP please, this is a priority since the mod team is currently understaffed.
>>9480 you can simply make a new thread with new picture and copy-paste reading lists and such. far as I can tell no cyclicals on edu, so any user can diy it
>>9489 Just let us know which threads you'd like to be cyclicals.
>>9484 >>9486 >>9490 Reporting still doesn't work. pls fix it
>>9499 Reporting still doesn't work
I can't even report cancerous posts, fix the fucking site holy shit
>>9520 You can delete them though, you just have to set the password.

>>9521 >though
>>>/testing/799 The transfer to a .net domain has rendered any images posted here after the transfer null and void... Any ideas on how to fix this because the original images on those threads are still open to posting.
>>9471 Wait, do you mean on ALL boards? How are you going to do that? What about threads that are functioning? I sure as hell don't want to see the cyberpunk thread get fucked over for a new general that won't get used.
>>9529 Also the site seems to be fucking broken, with https://bunkerchan.net/testing/res/799.html Being an OP with the exact same link as another post, causing the >>>/testing/799 error

>>9528 >>9537 I'm not a native speaker so please explain.
THE REPORTING STILL DOESN'T WORK
>>9558 >no mention of a .onion Wtf nobody uses I2P, install a .onion first.
btw, the webm issue might be a missing library related to png. check what stuff your ffmpeg supports.
>>9568 Thanks stephen, I'll check it out

Is there a reason why I can't see post histories of users anymore?
Is Bunkerchan mining for bitcoin while "waiting for captcha verification" or what? It makes my fans spin like crazy
Will the new software ban the nazi twitter schizo for good? He's been shitting up the board for a year, how are you guys still not able to get rid of him?
If you want to write a reply in a thread and don't have javascript enabled, Bunker tells you that you need to activate cookies and solve a captcha and then you have to copy a string of gibberish and go to a website that doesn't display anything without javascript enabled to download a program that takes the gibberish string to make something out of that which you then copy into the bunker website, so you activate javascript on that other website so that you can read the program description at least and it tells you then that the program is a "a bypass PoW solver in java (I don't have java installed) for users that don't run js in their browsers".
remove cloudflare and allow tor
>>9623 Select moderate thread and it'll show up beside each post >>9629 The bypass verification has your browser solve a cryptographic problem to provide proof of work - this is designed to prevent spammers from attempting to post with hundreds of IPs at once, which has been a problem recently. >>9632 We continue to ban him, he's been using VPNs to evade bans. >>9634 I'll talk to stephen about going through block bypass without javascript enabled. >>9635 We'll have an onion server up tomorrow, and we'll remove the cloudflare captcha for tor at that point. You will still need to fill out a block bypass and tor users will be unable to post files, to prevent CP and such.
>>9638 Is there a way to restore images? I have a ton of original image files that I posted in >>>/testing/ but unlike before they did not restore deleted images.
>>9460 test
-Allow creating text threads on every board, so Tor users can contribute threads too. -The PoW validation thing is a very annoying measure and pretty much completely fucks over non-JS users. It should never be used for more than a few hours.
>>9676 A spammer can let off off several hundred posts in a minute, assuming it will on average take us 10 minutes to activate counter measures the boards in question will be swamped in no time. Unfortunately, this is the best solution we have access to. Spammers have already shown themselves capable of circumventing our native captcha as well as cloudflare's. Those sites that don't have counter measures like this, or 4chan style catpcha per post, will run into similar problems. I'll consider allowing text threads to allow Tor users to create threads.
The captcha doesn't work on mobile and it is very slow on PC. It just says "please wait for the validation" and keeps that popup forevever.
>- clicking the "catalog" link from the "moderate thread" view returns a 404 You can strike this one through also because it has been brought to Stephen Lynx' attention many times and he doesn't want to fix this. So unless you code it yourself it'll always stay like that.
>>9810 It takes longer on mobile but it still works - the validation is doing a proof of work cryptography to prevent spam.
>>9814 How long should it usually take? Mine took forever and it just gave up and died on me. You guys really need to use a different captcha software like the one before.
REMOVE THE CAPTCHA REMOVE THE CAPTCHA REMOVE THE CAPTCHA I HAVE TO TRY OVER MORE THAN 3 TIMES, IS THIS TO KEEP OUT THE PEOPLE WITH BAD EYESIGHT OR SOMETHING? I HAVE TO PUSH MY EYES IN THE FUCKING SCREEN OR TAKE A SCREENSHOT AND INCREASE THE CONTRAST, THIS SHIT IS UNIRONICALLY ABLEIST BRUH REMOVE THAT SHIT LOOK AT YOUR USERBASE IT IS GONE, THANKS TO THAT SHIT I STOPPED USING BUNKERCHAN FOR WEEKS NOW, I AM ONLY HERE TO SAVE SOME MEMES THAT IS IT, HAVEN'T POSTED IN WEEKS, LOOK AT MY POST HISTORY IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME. I'VE BEEN A IN THIS COMMUNITY FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS AND I AM ABOUT TO LEAVE IT FOR A FUCKING CAPTCHA
>>9843 I lowered the difficulty of the captcha - does it look better now?
>>9845 yes, waaaaaay better. Thank you!!!!
Just get rid of captcha on boards until you get it fixed. I can't post AT ALL when I'm browsing on my phone. I think it also has to do with the reply button or something.
>>9848 Your phone is trying to solve a cryptographic problem so that it can post - mobile devices tend to not be as good at that as PCs. Unfortunately, the threats we face come from those with better hardware. I will lower it again, slightly, but we can't remove it as spammers will take advantage of the situation. I won't be letting my guard down again.
The OC thread is gone, please restore it: https://bunkerchan.net/leftypol/last/1197932.htm
>>9857 I don't think single threads can be restored. We're sorry for the fuck can, can you please recreate the thread.
I should be banned, but i still can post. Is the permaban lifted or is it a bug. Idk if it is written when a ban is lifted or not. Idk if i should write it here or the mod feedback thread.
mods are the bugs
