Catchy folk/ propaganda music. Anonymous 08/02/2020 (Sun) 08:36:14 No. 13878 [Reply] [Last]
No boring ass woody Guthrie singing about how sad it to be from Oklahoma while strumming his guitar. I want synthesisers, fast rhythms, weird ass instruments you’ve never heard before. I want shit that would make you want to get up and dance in your local town square with other third world peasants. Is its leftist? cool. Is its advocating for the genocide of some ethnic minority or the establishment of a global caliphate? I don’t give shit as long as the music is fire.

A thread for the best scifi on TV atm, aka "21st Century but in Space" simulator.

>>19872 Nah, The Expanse has already done several books within one series (the latter half of series 3 is just one book in of itself). I believe the showrunners can do a good job of it tbh, and considering they have 2 series to finish it off: they might not get to do all the books but they can at-least end it properly unlike GoT. Also I didn't realise that's why they ditched Alex tbh, makes sense now.
>>19867 yeah that's pretty small brain. even monsters can patronize good art or entertainment >nooooo I won't go to the coliseum to enjoy the splendid murdergames because they were paid for by the tyrant domitian <imagine being that pleb
New series innit.
The optics of the show are amazing this season. This season all the main characters are apart and we gotta see their backstory (it's about time since it's the fifth season). It loses a bit of its economic implications, both Earth, Mars and the Belt are all capitalist. I thought that Mars' political economy worked differently as they gave it a Soviet/Chinese aesthetic but it's actually very capitalist as confirmed by this season. That's a bit disappointing. I like it so far. The villains are pretty quickly established so far but there are still mysteries to solve. Also, they're putting sexual tension into the scene everytime there is a scene with a man and a woman. Not sure what's that about but 100% this season a character will end up banging a character they're not supposed to.
>>20139 Mars is meant to be China/Russia: power ascendant superpower that spends too much o mill tech compared to its own internal development.

Perhaps it has become your goal to be more charismatic, uninhibited and sociable. Let's have a thread where we ask questions and give advice to improve exactly that.

>>20104 the use of slurs lets slip 3 things about those who use them: 1. unironic belief in "chan culture", spends far too much time pretending he was on 4chan in 2003. 2. underage, in body or mind (often goes with 1) 3. poor vocabulary, lack of creativity.

/wooo/ - Professional Wrestling Anonymous Comrade 01/26/2020 (Sun) 22:38:49 No. 5713 [Reply]
Royal Rumble Edition, I guess. Even though we won't get enough activity to have multiple editions. I haven't watched any wrestling in at least half a year, but the Rumble is tonight and that's always my favorite PPV. I normally at least watch the last RAW and Smackdown before a PPV, but I'm so out of it that I didn't even bother to do that, so I have no clue what the current angles are. I watched NWA for a while but haven't liked what I've seen from AEW. Any other white trash comrades who like fake fights?
6 posts and 1 image omitted.
>>19988 There's no way that Vince McMahon would allow that. He has a giant hate boner for AEW. It shows with petty things here and there that you see such as Lana getting thrown through that table every week for a good while just becausae of Rusev going to AEW when in fact it was WWE that let him go in the first place. I missed out on TNA but I've watched the footage from that where Jeff was fucked up and the match ended with Sting being extremely pissed off. I've thought about going back and watching some other TNA stuff as someone who grew up on WCW. I never realized at the time that's where a lot of those guys went to back around 2004-2006. I was actively still watching Raw weekly until 2006 and Smackdown whenever I could up until that point. Then just watched wrestling on and off until around 2017. I took an interest in it again when a friend of mine let me use their WWE Network account to watch stuff. I liked the Bar fight at first I was kind of "meh" about the cinematic type matches. But looking back they aren't that bad. I do wish it would have been someone else instead of AJ Styles that had the final match with the Undertaker though. The John Cena and Fiend match was interesting. I liked the short cameo of what could have been with NWO Cena. lol I watched both of those other matches as well. I still like Jeff a lot. He was one of my favorites as a teenager. I used to do backyard wrestling based around his, Chris Jericho, and HBKs movesets. Also speaking of Sami Zayn, even though he's a trolly heel I love when he goes on about being anti-capitalist and wish that I had his outfit. I'm curious to what others thoughts about Sami Zayn are on here.
Anyone here planning on watching TLC?
>>20019 >Also speaking of Sami Zayn, even though he's a trolly heel I love when he goes on about being anti-capitalist and wish that I had his outfit. I'm curious to what others thoughts about Sami Zayn are on here. Same. I mean, his aesthetic is clearly modeled on Fidel Castro no? I remember the build-up to his Survivor Series match with Bobby Lashley, how Lashley's United States Championship was contrasted with Zayn's Intercontinental Championship, and how Zayn referred to himself as the peoples' champion, I thought he was maybe making a subtle reference to the TriContinental. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tricontinental_Conference_1966 >>20107 I am!
>>20111 Yes, I've thought that he definitely was modeled on Castro from there very start. Also another valid point, I didn't think about that but I did think more towards leftist ideologies instantly. But you could be onto something, as it makes sense. Nice! Do you have any predictions so far?
>>20119 So far, I'm predicting Sasha Banks and Roman Reigns successfully defend their titles. Not sure about the rest yet.

90% of vidya essays are just pretentious liberal garbage devoid of anything actually novel or intelligent. There are some exceptions though.
>Video Anyone actually watch the bloody things? One of the main reasons I ceased listening to Contrapoints or PhilosophyTube outside of them being massive liberals was because of how much effort they put into making ebin design shit and shitty comedy skits instead of, ya know, actually speaking on the topic.
I'd like to write about leftist legal theory, but any time I start writing these days it seems like a ranting manifesto. Any tips? Also I'm used to about 30 footnotes to anything I write.

Is Steven Universe liberal? I think it is because it propagates the notion that you can solve issues in society by talk no jutsu.

It's liberal because it's written, cared about, and watched only by pedophiles, and any adult who talks about it belongs in a prison camp.

Bong Joon Ho Anonymous Comrade 02/10/2020 (Mon) 04:50:51 No. 6059 [Reply] [Last]
So Parasite did great at the Oscars and looking at the rest of the director's films Snow Piercer and Okja are pretty REDpilled as well So is Bong Joon Ho /ourguy/ despite being a southron?
61 posts and 7 images omitted.
>>17464 I can forgive Bong for not being as overtly radical as I'd like because the powers that be would absolutely make sure that he never gets funding for another film if he reveals his power level too much. I would guess that film producers in Seoul and Hollywood generally dislike the ideological message in his films but they're willing to tolerate it because his work is popular and it makes money.
(377.14 KB 1000x1500 salinui_chueok_xlg.jpg)
>>19950 Bong Joon Ho has an earlier film called "Memories of Murder" that I think is generally agreed to be a classic of Korean crime movies. It also provides some interesting insights into police brutality in South Korean and South Korean history, as it's set in the late 1980's during the political unrest that occurred during the end of the Fifth Republic

I want to record and post the process of a porn animation I'm doing, which porn site is the least shitty for that sorta stuff? Don't wanna support PornHub in any way, I was thinking of Xvideos maybe since I don't know a lot of sites. I don't like Twitter for porn archiving purposes. Maybe a booru?
