I suppose that's what the more paranoid rightists see when they call the Democrats a bunch of commies. But I suppose that's also because of the vagueness of the "better tomorrow" message combined with the social justice themes, so some of it is compatible. Just throw some grain harvesters and militarized discipline in there and you're off to the races. I tend to believe that "communism" would not look that different from things right now in reality, instead of a "Year Zero" thing where you start over from scratch.
The spinning banners is my favorite part… saved the best for last. Also, the sound effect the Democrats used at the end is almost like a "charging up" sound effect – I've noticed that a lot in political propaganda lately. I've seen Trump use it, and the CPC use it. I think the idea is to make you feel like you're going Super Saiyan… like Goku. Everyone uses similar techniques. I think they borrow from Marvel movie trailers as well.
Also reminds me of how effective the Democrats' propaganda can be. Leftists tend to underestimate them. They have professional propagandists. The Democrats can certainly screw things up for themselves too, but they saturated TV land with that stuff last year and it does have an effect on people.
