I think part of this is because a lot of Japanese and Asians in general don't like Black people and vice versa (at least in the states for African-Americans) there's been some conversations about how Americans essentially taught East Asians to hate blacks and blacks to hate Asians (recall the Mr.Cube satire about dividing people based on race, nationality and ethnicity).
