I had my cursor on the purchase button, decided to look at reviews and saw people complaining about invasive data collection which spooked me out of purchasing it. Real concern or what? Game looks fun tho

I never played battlefield other than 1942 briefly after some folks here mentioned it. I always thought the newer games have all been worse than their predecessors but that's just my impression from seeing others discuss it.
Also while my computer is half decent, I utterly despise having to listen to my cheap fans at anywhere near full speed so these low spec games are always appealing

I believe they addressed this and clarified that the data that was being collected was for banning people abusing voice chat. They also defaulted the data collection to be opted out, which doesn't make much sense to me. More research required.

Its fun but seems kinda grindy? I suck even after 8 hours of gameplay so Im kinda burnt out at this point. Finally pepole play the same 3 maps over and over even tho theres like 20 to choose from
