>>29384Depends on the game.
Infinity ward maps you die in seconds, while treyarch games (again depending) it can take much longer.
Like the recent black ops cold war had a "battle royal" game mode called dirty bomb, it would take 30s to kill someone, but that's because you had armor which was a resource you had to stay ontop of; and also unlike other battle royals, if you died, you'd comeback 20 seconds later, and can go fight an enemy 10s.
>Even Battle Royales like Apex Legends have greater freedom of movement and force people to think moreI've barely played the game – but other than the robot guy, the game doesn't have much movement – and for me (who had ADHD granted), the game was so slow and uneventful, I'd have to drink energy drinks, or I would feel physical pain in my chest.
>>29386>I wish the Tribes and Titanfall series did not die offNever played tribes, but same on titanfall.
It's a shame that titanfall 2 didn't do well (because it's dumb release date), and apex did well which pushed the developers to focus on it, instead of making titanfall3 as originally planned.
>>29393Yeah, only barrior which alot of modern games fail implement, is a community aspect.
TF2 was so great since you can hop on a server and get to know everyone, which made you want to work in a team.
In overwatch I'd just pick who let me fight enemies alot, and play with them, only being a "true" team player to stop from losing halfway in the round.
>I think halo infinite might be currently the best fps, at least in my opinion.Hard to put your eggs in one game considering that alot of (AAA) games are now designed to have as minimum content multiplayers as possible, and excuse it by promising to add it content later.
