Surpassing Goal, 47,000+ Wisconsin Democrats Vote 'Uninstructed' in Primary
Campaigners with Listen to Wisconsin had hoped they could convince 20,000 Democratic primary voters on Tuesday to select "uninstructed delegate" on their ballots to send the message to President Joe Biden that he can't yet count on their votes in the November general election due to his support for Israel's bombardment of Gaza. After organizing for less than a month, the campaign far surpassed its goal, with more than 47,800 people voting for the uninstructed option.

Richard Trahant, who represents victims of clergy abuse, acknowledges having told a reporter to keep the accused predator “on your radar,” and that he asked the principal whether the person was still a chaplain at the school. Argentine Communist Party: Milei’s chainsaw against the Argentine working class
On March 1, Javier Milei took advantage of his speech at the opening of the Ordinary Sessions of the Argentine Congress to put forward his line of adjustment and surrender, after the great defeat of the «Omnibus Law I», that officially was named Ley Bases y Puntos de Partida para la Libertad de los Argentinos, but was dubbed «Omnibus Law I» due to the numerous areas on which it was intended to legislate. Following the same line as Sergio Massa, his electoral rival ─but class partner─, Milei proposed a «great national agreement»; a new «social contract» ─as he was dynamiting bridges between possible allies─ whose purpose is to guarantee governability and that the different bourgeois factions unite around their adjustment, surrender and repression projects. That is why he is relaunching the «Omnibus Law II», the supposed battery of «anti-caste» measures and the so-called «May Pact», a 10-point agreement which, according to the president, would establish «the principles of the new Argentine economic order». However, these are nothing more than anti-worker, anti-popular and openly surrenderist measures. One more step in their offensive against the Argentine proletariat.

The Supreme Court May Give Us Another 2008 Financial Crisis
The United States Supreme Court will soon decide on a case that could decimate consumer protections against abusive banking practices — potentially allowing banks to disregard state laws meant to prevent the kind of predatory lending that led to the 2008 financial crisis. Legal experts say that the case, Cantero v. Bank of America, could invalidate a host of state laws that protect people from predatory lending, junk fees, and other financial scams. The case is ostensibly about a New York statute that forces banks to pay interest to consumers on certain mortgage accounts — but big banks are fighting for the court to rule they are exempt from that law and many others in states across America. The banking lobby has thrown its weight behind the case alongside corporate-backed conservative legal groups and the US Chamber of Commerce, a powerful business trade group, all of whom have filed briefs supporting Bank of America. Supreme Court justices heard arguments for the case in February, and a ruling is expected potentially in a matter of weeks. A ruling in favor of the big banks could “completely undermine the notion that the states can exercise meaningful regulation over essentially any banks,” said Arthur Wilmarth, a professor emeritus at George Washington University Law School who helped write an amicus brief on behalf of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), an association of state bank regulators, opposing the banking lobby’s position.

V. I. Lenin: The Historical Destiny of the Doctrine of Karl Marx
The chief thing in the doctrine of Marx is that it brings out the historic role of the proletariat as the builder of socialist society. Has the course of events all over the world confirmed this doctrine since it was expounded by Marx? Marx first advanced it in 1844. The Communist Manifesto of Marx and Engels, published in 1848, gave an integral and systematic exposition of this doctrine, an exposition which has remained the best to this day. Since then world history has clearly been divided into three main periods: (1) from the revolution of 1848 to the Paris Commune (1871); (2) from the Paris Commune to the Russian revolution (1905); (3) since the Russian revolution. Let us see what has been the destiny of Marx’s doctrine in each of these periods.
