Yesterday Al Qassam fighters conducted an infiltration and shooting operation into a West Bank settlement north of Hebron (al-Khalil). This comes after a long week of incursions by israeli forces. Yes, it would be totally reasonable at this point to say that the war has spread to the West Bank- if there was even any question about it- but I am afraid that we will start to see massacres by air and on the ground, in addition to the usual settler violence.

Anyone wanna weigh in?

Jesus christ this whole "port" shit is infuriating
<Following the construction of a floating dock and a portable pier system, the Biden administration hopes to deliver aid to northern Cyprus, where it will then load the aid onto ships that will transfer the shipments near the anchored system on Gaza's coast after undergoing multiple security checks. This is only the initial part of the process. US military personnel will then unload the aid only to load it back onto small boats and ferry the packages to the docking station.

His name is Ahmed Kouta and he is real and in Gaza. Somehow you can't see if he even ate the main course and likely didn't use the flameless ration heater.
His view is that of an entitled Canadian citizen in Rafah, where the food situation is not nearly as bad as in Gaza city. I don't get why he would make and share this video.

The US has always been and is the biggest source of aid to Gaza, they will eat US MRE and similarly bland food for the forseeable future not only because zionists are inhumane, but also because surrounding Arab cuckolds have no alternatives or don't even seek the initiative to send food.
The usual "US bad" kneejerk reaction without nuances is damaging and backfired in this case, as this video is widely shared in zionist media with the claim they were not truly starving.

French paper: Former MK Azmi Bishara ‘strongly influenced’ Paris outline
French daily Le Figaro reports that former Balad MK Azmi Bishara played a role in talks between the US, Qatar, Israel and Hamas in Paris in February to build an outline for a potential hostage deal with Hamas.

A source quoted by the French paper says Bishara “strongly influenced the drafting” of the outline, which would see a temporary pause in fighting in Gaza and the release of hostages held by Hamas since October 7 in exchange for the release of Palestinian security prisoners and provisions for the entry of humanitarian aid to the Strip.

The report adds that Bishara serves as an adviser to Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Once a Knesset black sheep over his pro-Palestinian stance, Bishara left Israel in 2007, accused of spying for Hezbollah, a charge he denied. He is now a major personality in Qatari media and has a following of more than 1.7 million on social media platform X.

UNICEF chief: Gaza babies ‘don’t even have energy to cry’
One in three babies under the age of two in northern Gaza are suffering from acute malnutrition, according to the UNICEF.

Catherine Russell, executive director at the UN’s child protection agency, described in an interview with US broadcaster NBC what that means.

“Essentially, the body starts to consume itself as it has nothing else, and it’s a painful, painful death for children. I have been in wards where babies are suffering from malnutrition, the whole ward is absolutely quiet because the babies don’t even have the energy to cry”, she said.

“If we can get therapeutic feeding to them they can survive, but often they are stunted for life, and stunted means your cognitive ability is impacted as well, so it is a life-long challenge for these children – if they survive.”

Hamas:
The fighter brother Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, and a delegation from the leadership of Hamas received this Sunday afternoon Mr. Wang Kejian, Ambassador of the Administration of West Asia and North Africa at the Chinese Foreign Ministry, in the presence of Cao Xiaolin, the Chinese Ambassador to the State of Qatar, and the accompanying delegation. The two delegations discussed the political and field developments related to the situation in the Gaza Strip and ways to stop the war that our people are subjected to, and to deliver urgent aid and relief, especially in light of the ongoing killing, starvation, massacres, and attempts to create chaos.
The brother, Head of the movement, emphasized the necessity of quickly stopping the aggression and massacres, the withdrawal of the occupation army, the return of the displaced, providing shelter and reconstruction requirements, and achieving the political goals and aspirations of establishing a fully sovereign independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital, the right of return, and self-determination.
The Head of the movement also expressed his pride in the close relationship that links the two friendly peoples.
He praised the role that China plays in the Security Council, the United Nations, the International Court of Justice, and in sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
For his part, the Ambassador affirmed the close and historical relationship between the Palestinian and Chinese peoples and China's firm positions towards the Palestinian cause and its support for the just demands of the Palestinian people for freedom, independence, and the establishment of a state.
He emphasized the necessity of stopping this war and ending the killing that the Palestinians are subjected to and providing their humanitarian needs.
He confirmed that the Hamas movement is part of the Palestinian national fabric and China's keenness on the relationship with it.

<"Israel's" most dangerous failure

Brik pointed out that “The Chief of Staff has been isolated, silent, and at a loss of control of the ground for a long time, so he began appointing colonels and lieutenants in his likeness and image.”

He said this in itself is a scandal and "the most dangerous failure" since the establishment of the Israeli military. Instead of claiming responsibility for his actions, Brik said, the Chief of Staff decided to reinforce the generation of chaos that he heads with the brigade officers, who share this failure with him.

He added that soldiers are getting killed and injured daily as a result of the hasty and negligible inspection of the homes they enter in Gaza, which are booby-trapped with explosives.

"This must be stopped immediately,” Brik said, stressing that “if the political and military paths continue in this manner, we will find ourselves in a much worse situation than it was before the attack on the Gaza Strip began.”

He proceeded, "If the army does not succeed in returning some captives alive, this war will be publically shaped as the worst failure in Israel's wars since its founding, whether from the terrible blow it received from Hamas on October 7, or from the abject failure to fight in the Gaza Strip."

<'The worst hell on Earth'

Building on his findings, Brik said "Israel" will find itself amid difficult, insoluble gaps in Gaza and the regional war, which signifies the gravest threat against the occupation since its establishment. "The internal front is not prepared for a regional war that would be a thousand times more crushing than the Gaza war."

Further slamming Benjamin Netanyahu and the Chief of Staff, Brik said they were leading "Israel" nowhere, to a dead-end, and exerting the most effort to weaken the occupation. He described the Israeli senior as “rusty, headless nails in Israel’s body, and there is no way to remove them.”

"These people brought upon us the worst hell on earth in the history of Israel, and are paving our way to the next hell without strategic thinking or rationality."

>guys stop the war, our men keep blowing themselves up while looting homes. it's gonna embarrass us, we are already losing allies

This is irrelevant to the battle anyhow. The Al-Qassam brigades is an actual army with a solid command structure and the current war resembled Stalingrad more than Afghanistan.
Iirc George Hawi wanted to turn Beirut into Stalingrad during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, but was put off at the last moment due to lack of arms. The current war if anything is a vindication of that strategy.

 No.1797874

Local journalists report that combat is intensifying in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the northern Gaza Strip, where displaced journalists and medical staff are now besieged. IOF tanks are advancing towards the hospital at this moment.
Journalists in one of the targeted buildings report that a zionist force was ambushed, and has fallen between dead and wounded.

Launching heavy air and artillery strikes, the IOF announces that it has begun another operation against Al-Shifa Medical Complex, northern Gaza Strip, once again falsely claiming that Hamas leaders are present and conducting operations from the hospital.
Martyrs have been reported in the upper level of the hospital due to the strikes.

Why have the zionists renewed their assault on Al-Shifa?
In mid-November, in the midst of its clumsy and failed invasion of the northern Gaza Strip, the IOF sought out an easy, unarmed and humanitarian target, claiming “victory over a hospital” following its siege and assault on Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
In the days that followed, the zionist propaganda machine published a series of videos, all proven to be staged, falsely claiming that the resistance had been operating out of the hospital. The “tunnels” shown turned out to be maintenance access points and wells. The weapons “found” were proven to be planted by zionist operatives following the assault. The act of barbarism they had perpetrated drew global ire and held no strategic significance.
Just hours ago, Al-Qassam Brigades revealed the details of a complex intelligence operation: The resistance identified the IOF officer responsible for the siege and assault on Al-Shifa Medical Complex, tracked his movement in the Gaza Strip, and liquidated him by way of a locally-made Ghoul sniper rifle. Not only was the assault against the hospital an abject failure in dismantling the resistance, but it demonstrated the resilience of the Palestinian resistance, its complexity, and its ability to extract a human toll from those who perpetrate war crimes.
Now, the IOF recycles the same tired tactics of fabricated “intelligence” and justifications which the world at large no longer buys. As it advances once again on Al-Shifa, it will again emerge empty-handed, and with fewer soldiers than it had prior to the operation. While the occupation makes the same mistakes expecting a new outcome, the resistance continues to innovate and achieve its mission of making Gaza a graveyard for invaders.

Palestinian Ministry of Health:
A fire broke out at the entrance of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and there were cases of suffocation among the women and children displaced at the hospital. Communications were cut off, and the displaced are trapped inside the specialized surgery building and in the emergency reception at building 8. A number of martyrs and injured fell, with no ability to rescue any of the injured due to the intensity of the flames and targeting anyone who approaches the windows, in another crime against health institutions.
The Ministry of Health appeals to all international organizations to immediately stop this massacre against patients, the injured, the displaced, and the medical teams inside the hospital.

The occupation army has abducted Al-Jazeera correspondent, Ismail Al-Ghoul, and a number of medical personnel immediately after they stormed Al-Shifa Hospital at 3 AM.

Zionist forces assassinated Fayeq Al-Mabhouh, an internal security officer in Gaza, during their ongoing aggression and massacre in Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
Al-Mabhouh was a leading officer in the security apparatus of the Gaza Strip, and most recently was responsible for the securing and introduction of humanitarian aid to the northern Gaza Strip after months of zionist-imposed starvation policies. He achieved this only days ago by leading close coordination between Palestinian police in Gaza, families in the area, and UNRWA.
Glory to the martyrs.

>Gaza has been and is sustained on western aid mostly
Yes, but sustaining the colonial administration is part of the cost of doing business.

The problem is the Israeli blockade and more or less money in the bank is useless to Gaza if the settler colonial state does not allow for it's use. The reason why the UNRWA boicott gets so much attention is because it is an explicit, move from Israel's allies to align themselves with it's genocidal agenda, currently under scrutiny.

Besides that, denying the UNRWA the material support and supplanting it's activity on the ground with western distributors or those closely controlled, also undermines the UNRWA's role as guarantor of the Palestinian right of return and a watchdog of sorts to, at least, document the behavior of Israel as part of the UN (even if the money comes largely from the great Satan themselves).

Notable claim on the slaying of Fayeq Al-Mabhouh, the police head in charge of aid distribution today;
<He added that Al-Mabhouh was working openly within the Ministry of Interior, explaining that the Ministry is a civil body, not a military one, in accordance with international law. Al-Shifa Hospital includes a specialized center for the Ministry of Interior and the Police, in order to manage and secure the hospital. This is stipulated in the law.

<The martyr Al-Mabhouh did not rise until he refused to submit to the occupation’s demand to surrender himself, and after he engaged in a clash against the Israeli forces, killing a first sergeant from the “Nahal” Brigade , and wounding two others with his police pistol

This would stretch Israel's forces and focus too thin, and would make any additional de-mobilisation of soldiers (who are needed to work and keep the economy going) untenable.

The executor of the heroic operation that wounded two Shin Bet officers in "Gush Etzion," Al Khalil is 30-year-old Ziad Hamran of Jenin.
Ziad arranged a meeting with the two agents in the Beit Fajjar forest near Bethlehem, an area "prohibited" for Palestinians. He deceived them into thinking that he wanted to be a collaborator for the occupation. Within minutes, he opened fire from point-blank range, shooting one of them in the chest, wounding him seriously.
The operation is reminiscent of the operation of the "Shin Bet Hunter," martyr Abdul Moneim Abu Hmeid, the brother of heroic prisoner martyr Nasser Abu Hmeid. 30 years ago, Al-Qassam fighter Abdul Moneim of Al-Ama'ri Camp near Ramallah lured Shin Bet officer Noam Cohen into a meeting in Beitunia, killing him instantly after making Noam think that he was able to be recruited.

Below is a translation of an article published today in Al-Carmel, written by Qassem S. Qassem, titled "The Nasrallah-Al-Hayya Meeting: Support Fronts in the Hands of Hamas" with exclusive information regarding the course of negotiations and relationships with support fronts:
Since October 7th, Palestinian resistance leaders and the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, have communicated several times. Some of these meetings remained secret, while others were public, like the recent meeting between Nasrallah and the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas in Gaza, Khalil Al-Hayya (March 12, 2024). Another part of the communication took place via a secure line.
Coordination between the two resistances, according to those familiar with it, is currently at its highest level, both militarily and politically. In the latest meeting that brought together the leaderships of the two resistances, the Hamas leadership updated its host on the military situation on the ground. They reported that <strong>"the resistance in Gaza is still in good condition and can continue for a long time in the current battle, and the weapon manufacturing is ongoing."
According to Al-Carmel's information, in addition to weapon manufacturing, the transfer of weapons to the Gaza Strip has not stopped during the war. Al-Hayya also revealed that "the command and control system of the resistance remains cohesive and strong." According to Al-Carmel, Hamas continues to pay salaries to its full-time members and government employees despite the past six months of war.
On the humanitarian front, Al-Hayya conveyed the suffering and starvation experienced by the residents of the Strip, revealing that the "israeli" enemy uses starvation as a weapon against the resistance and tries to blackmail it with aid and food trucks. He said, "Famine in northern Gaza is severe," and the American and "israeli" aggression uses it, along with some Arab and Palestinian media, to pressure the resistance to succumb to "israeli" demands. The Palestinian resistance has experienced this policy, as in previous negotiation stages with the "israeli" enemy, "Tel Aviv" and Egypt would reduce the number of trucks coming to Gaza each time they wanted to pressure the resistance.
Regarding truce negotiations, Al-Hayya presented the movement's stance, which includes showing flexibility regarding the release of "israeli" civilian prisoners on the condition that their release is part of a package that ultimately leads to four things: firstly, a comprehensive ceasefire; secondly, the withdrawal of the "israeli" army (which, according to Hamas leadership, will happen sooner or later); thirdly, the reconstruction of the Strip; fourthly, the return of displaced people to their homes.
According to Al-Carmel's information, the military leadership of the Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of Hamas) sent a message to the political leadership of Hamas during their stay in Egypt last month, informing them that they can be firm in their demands and not to be affected by the pressure exerted by the "israeli" enemy, confirming that they can continue fighting for several months, and that the most important thing is to alleviate the suffering of the people and to ensure a comprehensive ceasefire, no matter how long the war and negotiations last.
Returning to the Al-Hayya – Nasrallah meeting, Sayyed Hassan spoke about the support fronts (Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon), and informed the Hamas delegation that they can negotiate on behalf of these fronts, and that it is a pressure card in the hands of Hamas against the "israeli" delegation in the negotiations. Nasrallah also hoped to make full use of the prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance until the end, as the American and "israeli" enemies want the Palestinian resistance to hand over the "israeli" prisoners, after which "Tel Aviv" would continue its attack on the resistance.
Currently, according to sources within the Palestinian resistance, "There are no military indicators of an imminent ground attack on Rafah," as the "israeli" army, according to the resistance, needs time to rest and to make up for losses among its officers and soldiers.
The resistance is aware that Washington agrees with "Tel Aviv" on the military and authoritarian dismantling of Hamas, but the disagreement between them is how to achieve this without affecting America's image, and Joe Biden's reelection for a second term. Hamas sees that the current focus of humanitarian aid distribution in northern Gaza Strip, and depriving the south of it, aims to push the residents of southern Gaza towards the north, in case the enemy decides to launch its attack on Rafah. The same method was followed by "israel" at the start of the "israeli" military campaign on northern Gaza (October 27, 2023), when communications were cut off from the north and residents were asked to head to south of Wadi Gaza.
As for the Palestinian resistance, it is confident of its victory in this battle against the "israeli" enemy, and that the survival of its army in the Strip will not last, and will eventually leave.

A new poll by the "World Zionist Organization" finds that 80% of "israelis" abroad do not intend to return to occupied Palestine.

That might be true to some degree, but it doesn't address the material cause of it.

This is the most technologically advanced and calculated genocide in the history of man. Plans have been in the works for the past 70 years, and they are more than prepared.

They want to destroy the health infrastructure, aid networks and supply lines, infrastructure, and the homes of every Palestinian because their 'plan' is essentially to cause mass death, starvation, and suffering to break the Palestinian people and either expel them into the Sinai, or kill all of them.

The only thing that even has come close to Resistance cadres in hospitals was a police chief working in the capacity of a civillian and non-combatant in order to help oversee the distribution of aid.

They murdered him when they stormed al-Shifa, but we went out like a real motherfucker and took two of the bastards with him, allegedly. Wouldn't be surprised. Read this article, it will help clear things up.

And just so everybody is on the same page: we are witnessing the collapse and ship-abandoning of the zionist entity in real time. 80% of settlers who evacuated from the North plan on never returning, and the pressure from Hezbollah is only increasing. The israeli public- not just the current government- are in a suicidal rage. There are protests breaking out from pretty much every faction of the israeli public, and the government is damn near collapsing.

Various vectors of pressure from all actors are culminating and israel is seriously feeling its life is threatened. These pressures include, but are not limited to: on -the-ground resistance in Gaza, the West Bank, and the rest of the occupied territories, attacks on the North '48 territories at the hands of Hezbollah, attacks from various Syrian and Iraqi factions, the unrepentant and valiant attacks that continue to be launched by the Yemeni people and government against the USA, the zionist entity, and all of their allies in Red Sea and now the Indian Ocean and Cape of Good Hope, international pressure from within the UN, strife within domestic governments, initiative taken by progressive factions in governments around the world to take to court the entity and its allies, protest and dissent from domestic populations, private corporations doing risk-management, cultural institutions, NGOs, boycott movements, solidarity initiatives, collective labor action, progressive investigative journalism and media outlets, tiktok zoomers, good old socialist organizational politics, etc etc, et al.

The list could go on, because no singular nor even primary contributing factor to the ongoing demise of the zionist 'state;' they all work in unwitting collaboration guided by the historical-dialectic and internal, irreconcilable contradictions and frictions within the capitalist world system!

It isn't about performative protests, nor is it about reformism or entryism, nor adventurism, nor boycott, nor even organizing for political, armed, and/or labor struggles! It is a world-historic event and the dialectics unfolding in real time, and though you have historical agency, you are mostly just along for the ride bucko! So you better get off your ass, and maybe even find solace in it.

We as Marxists know that in the end, the working and oppressed classes will rise to the top; it may be bloody and involve immense suffering, but it is gonna happen one way or another.

From this of course we can conclude we must to wield every single tactic and arm that we have at our disposal; institutional or grass roots, theoretical, or practical, peacefu, or violent. And lastly, this all goes to say that though there is no singular action nor actor that will bring about peace and justice for the Palestinian cause, such goals are entirely contingent upon the brave struggle of the Palestinian people collectively; that is something we must never forget.

Glory to the martyrs, victory to the oppressed classes and nations. Free Palestine!

Idk how it could be worse than it looks. It looks like they're in a fundamentally untenable position, both domestically and internationally. The real question is what happens with the ICJ and the US's relationship to international "rules based order" while the rest of the world wants Israel's ass over this. Even if nothing happens there, the zionist entity is in a state of self-destrtuction as their political program and ideology has to deal with the reality of the situation.

A new zionist media report finds that, amidst an ammunition shortage, the IOF has resorted to using artillery shells that are over 70 years old, which are intended solely for training.
Anonymous IOF reservists told the media that the shortage of equipment was severe, especially for artillery, with tools working at half efficiency, despite over 100 arms deals, mostly secret, with the US and Elbit Systems.
The IOF reportedly told its soldiers to preserve ammunition in anticipation of an escalation on the northern front with Hezbollah. Despite this, the shipments of ammunition have been extremely irregular, and many of these are for shells 40 years past their expiry.
This follows after reports of the IOF using vehicles dating back to 1960 during their invasion of Khan Younis, which has persisted for over 100 days without achieving their goals.

Five Palestinians are wounded after the forces of the traitorous Palestinian Authority began opening fire on the friends and families of the martyred resistance fighters (Mohammed Al-Fayed, Ahmed Barakat, and Mahmoud Al-Rahal) during their funeral in Jenin as they passed by the PA headquarters to demand the PA release the martyrs' friends—political prisoners—for a final farewell.
This resulted in the tragic scene of one martyr's body falling to the ground. Armed clashes have now broken out between resistance fighters and the traitorous Authority. Mourners yelled, "Have shame! These are martyrs!"
This incident is not the first of its kind. It occurs precisely at times when unity against the common enemy, the occupier, is most needed. In the last year, seven martyrs, including children, have ascended to martyrdom as a result of the PA's bullets of treachery, often at funerals mourning martyrs.

>Why is this happening? Several factors have combined to promote this disintegration. First, the army's hierarchy weakens as the model of mandatory military service crumbles and the idea of volunteer service grows. This is the moment when the reservists feel they have a right to speak up because most of the burden falls on their shoulders, which makes them a tiny minority.

>This phenomenon has also spread to combat soldiers in mandatory service, who have gradually become a minority given the scope of exemptions from military service and the growing number of soldiers who don't serve in combat roles.

>This mindset – which constitutes the second factor – was reinforced by the exceptional circumstances brought about by the war. Combat soldiers, both men and women who are ordered to risk their lives and serve in Gaza for prolonged durations, not only feel that the burden of sacrifice rests on their somewhat limited shoulders, but that it's also up to them to save Israel from its failed political leadership and senior army command.

No. Its self destructive.

Famously the IRA and the Black Panther's cannibalised themselves like this, in both of these examples security services also used agents to have legitimate activists murdered whilst in the IRA case beitish intelligence had direct control of the IRAs internal security devision through a high level turncoat with which thry used to wreck havoc.

Majority of Palestinians support al-Aqsa Flood, Hamas: Poll

A poll conducted between March 5-10 by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research PCPSR found that 71% deemed the decision to launch the operation as correct, 72% still support Resistance movement Hamas, and 64% expect the movement to emerge victorious by the end of the war.

Furthermore, three-quarters of Palestinians who were surveyed said they believe that the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza "revived international interest in the conflict," considering that it could lead to "increased recognition of the Palestinian state."

The poll revealed that 70% of Gaza residents stated that they would not leave the Strip, even if the wall between Rafah and Egypt collapsed.

Regarding the "day after" the war, 73% of Palestinians opposed the plan that entails the United States and an Arab alliance, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan developing a vision to strengthen and reform the Palestinian Authority, return to negotiations based on the "two-state solution," and achieve "Arab-Israeli peace."

When asked about Yemen's role in supporting Palestine, 83% of respondents expressed satisfaction with it.

However, the poll showed complete dissatisfaction with the United States, which supported the occupation in its genocidal war on Gaza at various levels, with only 1% of the surveyed individuals saying they were satisfied with the US' conduct.

'Eilat' port CEO labels it non-functional due to Yemeni strikes

Israeli Channel 14 hosted the CEO of the Port of "Eilat", Gideon Golber, to describe the current situation of the port and how the Yemeni Armed Force's(YAF) operations in the Red Sea against Israeli vessels or ships heading to the occupied ports of Palestine have been affecting its activity.

During the interview, Golber shed light on the important role this port holds for the occupation labeling it as the only southern seaport for the Israeli occupation of the Far East and Australia without having to pass through the Suez Canal. He added that this holds high importance as most of the ports are located on the European side and in the United States and all activities from 'Eilat' are with the Far East.

Golber said that ever since the YAF began its operations in the Red Sea and closed the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, all activities on the "Eilat" port have been halted and ever since that happened all settlers operating on it or using it have been out of a job.

He added that this port is responsible for around 50 to 55% of imported vehicles from the Far East, adding that the occupation exports around 1.8 to 2 million tons of potassium and phosphate from the Dead Sea. It also imports claves and sheep from Australia and they have some other secondary activities, Golber said.

As Golber was asked about any possible alternative routes that could be taken for the importing of goods from the Far East, he said that some of the goods were arriving at the occupation's "Eilat" port; however, most were not.

An example he provided was calves and sheep which are really difficult to transport through the Cape of Good Hope, hence, the number of imported cows from Australia has decreased.

Golden highlighted that this poses a great problem for the occupation so he is obligated to stress it as "Israel" should do something.

He added that it is unbelievable that "Israel" in the past fought a war over the Strait of Tiran or the Suez Canal and today it allows Americans, the British, and the French to do this job for them.

In his concluding statement, the CEO of the "Eilat" port stressed that he will have to dismiss, at least in the first stage, 50% of the total employees in the port.

Dimitri Lascaris, a Canadian lawyer and journalist, visited the Israeli occupation's port settlement of "Eilat" on March 17 through 18 and reported that the Yemeni operations conducted by the Yemeni Armed Forces have indeed left the port settlement devoid of any cargo ships.

"There are no cargo ships here, no tankers [visible]," said Lascaris.

According to Lascaris, "All indications" point to the fact that "the attacks on Red Sea shipping by the Ansar Allah movement continued to have dramatic impacts on this particular port facility."

The Canadian lawyer further underscored that the settlement is "far away from the major population centers of Israel," adding that "it's also not served by rail, at least not yet."

This means that the Red Sea blockade against the Israeli occupation and in defense of the Gaza Strip has actually choked the settlement, which had no way around due to the lack of rail routes.

Through "Eilat", "Israel" imports vehicles from Asia and delivers and temporarily stores oil cargo.

"There is almost no one on those beaches," Lascaris reported, adding that there is "no indication of any tourism here." Even kiosks and shops appear to be shut down, at this time of year, on a Sunday[March 17].

This is especially significant given that "Eilat" has been dubbed by Israeli media as a touristic destination.

"It certainly does seem quiet here."

'Israel' fears 'snowball effect' of Western arms embargo after Canada

Canada decided earlier this week to halt exports of weapons to the Israeli occupation following months of growing public pressure amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

While Canada is not a major arms supplier to "Israel" compared to other countries, the concern is that this move could lead to a larger trend among Western nations who might follow suit, creating a domino effect of countries halting arms sales to the entity, the Israeli Globes website reported.

Fears of a snowball effect that puts greater pressure on Israelis comes as the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza revealed on Thursday that, on the 167th day of the war on the Strip, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces since October 7 has risen to 31,988, with 74,188 others injured.

Based on data from the Canadian government, arms exports to the entity amounted to only $15 million in 2022. Over the period from 2019 to 2023, Israeli imports of weapons from Canada accounted for just 0.05% of the occupation's total military imports.

By way of comparison, UK arms exports to "Israel" amounted to $53 million in 2022, while German arms exports reached $35 million in the same year. In contrast, US military aid to the entity in 2022 alone reached $3.3 billion.

The most devastating impact would be if the US decided to suspend deliveries of weapons to "Israel," which has totals of billions per year, and is currently the lifeline for the occupation's war on Gaza.

Washington has not enforced any arms restrictions on "Israel" since 2000, when it declined to sell parts for combat helicopters used in targeted killings during the Second Intifada. But the decision was later revoked and $1 billion in military assistance was added after 9/11.

With the martyrs' toll in Gaza now reaching 32,000 and the UN warning of an imminent famine due to the entity's starvation policy, more US officials - coupled with a significant number of American citizens - are demanding that weapons to "Israel" be scrutinzed, or suspended entirely.

Similarly, the UK is falling under heavy pressure to cease its weapons sales to "Israel." Recent reports in the British media suggest that the London would contemplate a complete arms embargo on the entity "If it attacks Rafah" under the current conditions.

Several countries have imposed arms embargoes on the occupation since the war began last October, Italy being one of them. This happened despite the close relationship between Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and her Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu.

Between 2013 and 2022, Italy exported around $130 million worth of military hardware to "Israel," mainly comprising components for combat and training aircraft, as reported by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

About a month ago, The Hague ordered a halt to the transfer of F-35 aircraft parts from US army warehouses in the Netherlands to "Israel." However, the entity quickly found alternative sources for the parts despite the court's decision, averting any shortages, Globes reported, citing sources.

Italy and the Netherlands are not major suppliers to "Israel", so their measures did not have a much noticeable impact on "Israel". However, Germany, on the other hand, is a major exporter of weapons and military equipment to the occupation.

Similar to other world powers, Berlin is also facing rising international and domestic pressure to take action against Israelis to end the genocide in Gaza. According to Globes, Berlin is now considered "vulnerable to the snowball effect," which is causing concerns in the entity.

During a trip to "Israel" last Sunday, Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed concern regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza. German arms exports to "Israel" have surged since last October, scoring $351 million - which is ten times higher than the amount sold in 2022.

Even without selling arms to "Israel," pumping cash into the Israeli military industry by purchasing their weapons also makes countries complicit in the ongoing genocide in the Strip.

According to SIPRI's recent analysis of international military equipment trade over the past five years, "Israel" is the second-largest supplier to Germany (16%) and the third-largest to the UK (2.7%), it is also a major supplier to Morocco (11%), India (37%), and the Philippines (12%).

Life evaluations from the Gallup World Poll provide the basis for the annual happiness rankings. They are based on answers to the main life evaluation question. The Cantril Ladder asks respondents to think of a ladder, with the best possible life for them being a 10 and the worst possible life being a 0. They are then asked to rate their own current lives on that 0 to 10 scale. The rankings are from nationally representative samples over three years.

Al-Jazeera broadcasted exclusive scenes showing an IOF drone targeting 4 young, unarmed civilians with missiles after following them in the Al-Sikka area of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Two of the young men were immediately martyred. A second missile targeted one of the wounded young men who was able to get a distance away from the first bombing, as was the case with the fourth young man.
The footage was obtained after the drone was shot down by the resistance in early February.

Zionist media reported that a secret meeting was held between two senior zionist officials (from the Shin Bet and the "coordinator of government activities) and a senior Fatah leader.
The meeting, which was held in recent weeks, involved discussions of the "day after" Gaza, seeking Fatah control over the Strip in coordination with the zionist entity.

Probably a nothingburger for PR.

But it is sussy how the USA and EU and World Bank even for some reason, have jumped on to explicitly blaming Israel for the siege all of a sudden. So perhaps they are trying to rush through some better terms, or force a negative vote using the siege of Gaza as blackmail?

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/3/21/with-record-of-gaza-truce-vetoes-us-unveils-new-ambiguous-un-resolution
>[…]A copy of the new draft resolution, obtained by Al Jazeera, reads: “The Security Council determines the imperative of an immediate and sustained ceasefire to protect civilians on all sides, allow for the delivery of essential humanitarian assistance, and alleviate humanitarian suffering and towards that end unequivocally supports ongoing international diplomatic efforts to secure such a ceasefire in connection with the release of all remaining hostages.”

>Al Jazeera’s Diplomatic Editor James Bays said while the development “sounds very important”, the “exact language” of the resolution is crucial, adding that what the US was actually demanding was ambiguous.

>“It’s certainly the strongest language yet, but is it what the rest of the Security Council wants in terms of a demand for an immediate ceasefire? Or is it just a resolution where the Security Council would say an immediate ceasefire is something that’s very important?” he said.

Israelis were injured, 3 of whom were described as seriously to hopelessly injured, in a shooting attack at the “Habarsa” intersection near the “Dolf” settlement in “Binyamin,” west of Ramallah, and the clashing resistance fighter, Mujahid Barakat Mansour, was martyred.

he Israeli media said that a gunman opened fire on cars at the Habarsa intersection, and clashed with the occupation forces for more than 4 hours, before “an Israeli helicopter launched a missile towards his location in Binyamin.”

"an Air Force helicopter participated in pursuing the perpetrator of the operation and exchanged fire with him," noting that "the army forces faced difficulty in evacuating one of the injured people from the scene of the operation."

The Israeli media reported that there were calls for residents in the Palestinian villages adjacent to the shooting to erase the contents of the surveillance cameras “to make it difficult to reach the port.”

Al-Mayadeen correspondent reported from eyewitnesses that the perpetrator of the “Benjamin” operation was able to shoot shot down a drone during the clash with the occupation forces. She pointed out that the occupation "army" stormed Deir Bazi', the birthplace of the combative resistance fighter Mujahid Barakat Mansour

 No.1802183

>>1802178
Commenting on the operation, the Israeli media said, “What happened in Benjamin is an exceptional incident,” adding: “It is crazy for a lone gunman to direct a battle for more than 4 and a half hours against large forces with the participation of a drone and a combat helicopter attack. And without success in reaching it.”

The Israeli media stated that “the perpetrator of the operation appears more like an elite member, and not like the previous perpetrators,” adding: “We are one step away from losing control.”

It is noteworthy that this operation comes in light of a state of escalating tension in the West Bank since October 7, as operations escalate against the occupation, which continues to attack cities and villages in the West Bank, in parallel with its continuing massacres in the Gaza Strip.

Today, Friday, the occupation media indicated “a great alert in the security and military establishment, as more than 3,000 police were deployed throughout Jerusalem on the second Friday of the month of Ramadan.”

The Palestinian factions had called for activating resistance action on all fronts during the holy month of Ramadan to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip and achieve victory for the Palestinian cause.

Israeli media raised the concerns of the Israeli security authorities regarding the Ramadan season in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades:
Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades mourns its martyred field commander: Ahmed Khalil Al-Ras - Commander of the Al-Shati' Brigade, who was ascended in a cowardly assassination by treacherous zionist bombing, while carrying out his duty of struggle within the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.

For over 5 hours, a group of just seven activists and healthcare workers have blockaded and denied entry to the US headquarters of the largest zionist weapons manufacturer, Elbit Systems, in Merrimack, New Hampshire, in protest of its role in the genocide of Palestinians.
About 20 supporters are cheering them on as state police arrive at the scene now.
The same site was targeted with direct action in November 2023, resulting in three activists facing felony charges and potential prison time. These charges did not scare others from taking action against the genocide profiteer.
Elbit Systems and its subsidiaries have been the target of direct actions internationally for years due to their deep role in the genocide of the Palestinian people, leading to the cessation of relations and the shutdown of Elbit facilities.
Elbit Systems produces 85% of the IOF's drones, such as the one used to execute four civilians in cold blood. Many of these drones, however, have fallen into the hands of the resistance after being shot down, which is the only reason we are able to witness such horrific clips.
Elbit also sells these weapons and surveillance systems to Azerbaijan, Myanmar, Brazil, the Philippines, Honduras, and the United States. The Indian conglomerate Adani, through a joint venture with Elbit, recently sent the IOF 20 Hermes 900 drones, as both parties profit from the genocide of Palestinians.
You may find a global map of Elbit Systems subsidiaries, major investors, insurers, landlords, and supplies at https://act.progressive.international/out-palestine/.

A series of updates from RNN:

Armed clashes are continuing between one or more resistance fighters and zionist forces following a shooting operation targeting a settler vehicle in "Dolev," west of Ramallah.
The IOF has deployed a helicopter and drone to search for the fighters, and the zionist forces opened fire on journalists. Zionist media reports that War Minister Benny Gantz is on his way to the location.

An IOF Apache helicopter began firing at an open area near the site of the shooting operation west of Ramallah. Armed clashes have renewed in the area.

Clashes have intensified in the Jabal Al-Shabouni area in the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah.
At least 6 IOF injuries including two critical injuries and two minor to moderate injuries have been reported.
Zionist sources report that the IOF is facing difficulty in evacuating one of its wounded from the site of the operation.
The shooting operation has been ongoing for over four hours despite the flight of IOF aircraft and military reinforcements in the area.
The incident currently taking place has been described as exceptional.

The IOF has launched a missile at the site of the shooting operation, after failing to engage in a clash with or reach the resistance fighter who according to zionist sources, wounded 6 soldiers. They also failed to reach wounded soldiers at the scene.
The incident lasted over 4 hours despite all the zionist military aircraft and reinforcements deployed in the area.
This comes shortly after zionist media stated that the fighter "appears to be an elite member and not like previous executors, and we are a step away from losing control."
Glory to the resistance.

Zionist sources report that the executor of the heroic shooting operation which took place in the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah, has ascended to martyrdom.
The IOF which was unable to reach him, fired a missile at the site of the operation following 4 hours of ongoing clashes in an incident described as exceptional by zionist media.
The hero of the operation successfully wounded 7 soldiers including one critical injury, one severe injury, and two moderate injuries.
Glory to the martyrs.

The executor of the heroic shooting operation in “Dolev,” west of Ramallah, is the martyr Mujahid Barakat Mansour (32 years old) from the village of Deir Ibzi', west of Ramallah.
After targeting a settler vehicle, he clashed for nearly 5 hours with IOF soldiers who failed to reach him, leaving 7 of them wounded, and downed an IOF drone according to eyewitnesses, before a zionist helicopter launched a missile towards him.
Mujahid is a retired military officer in the Presidential Guard, having retired years ago. He is also a freed prisoner who was previously held in zionist prisons.
His name, Mujahid Mansour, means victorious fighter.
Glory to the heroic martyr.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades:
"Then let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And whoever fights in the way of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward."
With great pride and honor, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades exalt their heroic fighter who carried out the heroic Ramallah operation, and salute the sons of our nation rising up in an intifada in all arenas.
On the path of the first martyrs and on the road of struggle and resistance, and in victory for Gaza and the sufferings of the prisoners in the enemy's jails, and in response to the crimes of the occupation against our people everywhere, the fighters of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades continue their heroic operations against the occupation forces and their settler gangs as part of the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, to affirm that the volcano of the West Bank will not be extinguished and that the blood of our people in Gaza, our prisoners, and our Al-Aqsa is a red line.
As part of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades' responses to the ongoing aggression of the occupation, one of our fighters attacked a number of settlers' cars and military reinforcements that came to their rescue near the settlement of "Dolev" west of the city of Ramallah this morning, Friday, 12 Ramadan 1445 AH / corresponding to 22-03-2024, and the clash lasted for more than 4 continuous hours, resulting in 7 zionists wounded with serious and critical wounds, ascending to the highest, the hero of this operation:
The martyr and liberated prisoner fighter, Mujahid Barakat Mansour (31 years old) from the town of Deir Ibza' - west of Ramallah
As the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades declare their responsibility for this heroic operation, they affirm the following:
Firstly: This operation is a continuation of what the fighters of its brigades started in Nablus and Tubas this morning, where they confronted with all courage and capability the incursions of the zionist occupation forces into their cities with machine guns and explosive devices.
Secondly: This operation is part of a series of operations responding to the continuous aggression of the occupation against our steadfast people in Gaza and our brave prisoners, the latest of which were the operations of the Al-Aqsa Brigades in Gaza, Jenin, Al-Khalil, Tubas, and Nablus, over the past days, resulting in a number of dead and wounded.
Thirdly: We salute the sons of our nation rising up in an intifada in all areas of our revolutionary [West] Bank, who have written an epic in the past days in steadfastness and confrontation against this criminal enemy, especially in Nour Shams camp, Nablus, Jenin, Al-Khalil, and Tubas.
Fourthly: The continuation of the enemy's aggression and its persistence against our people in Gaza, our Al-Aqsa, and our prisoners will ignite a fire that disperses its security and shakes its foundations.
Fifthly: The attempts and targeting of the enemy against our people's fighters will not succeed in stopping our resistance, and the enemy's incursions into our areas and camps will be an opportunity - by Allah's will - for our fighters' rifles and their explosives to reap more lives of the occupation soldiers and settlers. What is coming is more severe and greater.
And it is a revolution until victory, until victory, until victory…
Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - The military wing of the Fatah movement
Friday, 12 Ramadan 1445 AH / corresponding to 22 March 2024

Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades:
Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades declares its full responsibility for the heroic Ramallah operation, which came as a response to the massacres of the occupation against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The heroic “Dolev” operation shows what the determined, resistant Palestinian is capable of achieving.
Early before sunrise, Mujahid Barakat Mansour lay waiting in the hills west of Ramallah, near the settlement of “Dolev.” Evidence shows us that he had prepared for this moment: From a fortified point he had established for himself, he rang in the dawn of a blessed Friday with bullets and fire from his rifle, targeting a vehicle carrying settlers.
Occupation forces responded swiftly to the area, precisely as Mansour had expected. Contrary to what the invading soldiers believed, the incident was far from over. Mansour, from his fortified point in the hills, opened fire on the soldiers. Having trained as part of the Palestinian Presidential Guard, rejecting the security coordination, betrayal, and failure of the Palestinian Authority, he was prepared for this moment. From his fortified perch, he shot swiftly and accurately, waging a clash against soldiers through the harsh terrain for over five hours.
Seven occupation soldiers were wounded, some critically, before they gave up their fight. Refusing to meet the dignified Palestinian on the battlefield, they dispatched drones and began targeting Mansour. Rather than give up the fight, Mansour managed to escape to an even more fortified position he had prepared in advance. He continued shooting at soldiers and even downed one of the drones that was sent to kill him.
In the end, the cowardly occupation was forced to fire missiles at Mujahid Mansour by way of Apache helicopter, having failed to target him through any other means. He ascended to martyrdom after leaving his permanent mark on the occupation. One determined Palestinian fighter, waging combat from the land which he belongs to, proved that heroes are made in Palestine, and that no foreign usurper can ever put a stop to the resistance.

I'm only used to seeing prejudice somewhat veiled or like… a culture war take. It's quite something else to see the genocidal intent when it's backed by the means to carry it out, and in progress. IDK it feels weird that it's both so banal to them but at the same time they are surrendering so much of their identity to settler colonialism. When I bet they would not be much impacted if they didn't choose to be "activists" about it.

It's like watching some cult complex where everyone holds some nutty belief that compels them to fully commit their lives to the cult ,but everyday living goes as normal otherwise. Then someone offhandedly mentions the guru being an alien and how they plan to ascend by drinking the secret extraterrestial koo-laid, like it's a perfectly normal thing to entertain in smalltalk.

There were plenty of socialists who were racists or believed they were superior to natives. There were many socialists who had zero problems with building their mini utopias on land stolen from so called primitive peoples. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

You can say this wasn't real socialism or they were being contradictory fair enough. But socialism isnt different from any other Western political ideology when it comes to natives and indigenous peoples. I'd say the generation of Marx moved between "these are primitive lesser people" to "these guys can be our allies in a global struggle" but there were a lot of anarchists, commies, and socialists who had chauvanist and supremacist attidtudes to indigenous and still do. Remember when Zapata marched into San Cristobal? All those Mexican socialist intellectuals were anti-Zapata because they saw Indios and peasants as dumb rural hicks. Real socialism would come from the artists leading the workers not Mayans.

If Palestine is to be a state and reclaim ALL of its stolen territory, I can imagine any "sanctions" that'll be put on it won't be as effective as now Palestine will have more re-claimed resources at their disposal. It won't be perfect, but it'd be a hell of a lot better then things are or currently have been.

Reminder that it was really the Bolsheviks that pioneered the idea that anti-colonialism had to be a cornerstone of the revolutionary movement in the imperialist epoch. Prior to that the closest you got was the promotion internationalism among workers in capitalist countries. Colonialism was often regarded as progressive for supplanting feudalism or slavery with capitalistic relations of production outside of Europe.

In relation to Marx, his views on development of a people and oppression of a people seemed to differ, sometimes he and Engels were able to relate British and European colonialism at his time to the destruction, death and deindustrialization to impacted societies like India or China, yet write these nations have no history but then write historical chronology on them, he could be right and wrong, and for sure racist then not be racist, much as he was going against his society he was still a part of it, but I think Marx and Engels were definitely somewhat Anti Imperialist, Anti Colonialism, in supporting the struggle for Indian Independence, Irish Independence, the struggles against slavery by Africans and struggles against genocide by Native Americans, he knew who's blood was spilled and who drew that blood.

Gaza's 'shadow death toll': Buried, missing, trapped under the rubble

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 7 massacres in 24 hours, killing 72 and injuring 114. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 to 32,142, in addition to 74,412 injuries.

It is noteworthy that numerous victims remain trapped under the rubble, presumed dead, as "Israel" prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

Gaza's "shadow death toll" consists of Palestinians trapped beneath the rubble and missing persons since October 7. Last updated, the number stood at 7,000 people in November. Since then, experts estimate that thousands more have been added to the toll.

Testimonies reported by the New York Times paint a grim picture of what survivors of the occupation's brutal attacks have to endure during the brief moments of silence when "Israel" does not drop its bombs on civilians, schools, residential buildings, and protective shelters.

The NYT reported incidents when men rushed to dig out their families from underneath the rubble when even bulldozers failed due to the amount of debris piled over.

In between airstrikes and raids, small groups of rescue teams head to large piles of rubble that have accumulated more and more debris over the past six months, to try to find any survivors. Most of the time, what is found are the bodies of the martyrs killed by "Israel" days, weeks, and months ago.

In November, Salem Qassem told the NYT that his family had been stuck under the rubble of their home in Beit Hanoun for forty days. He added that if the debris were to be lifted, he would only find their ashes.

This also comes as a result of "Israel's" blockade on Gaza, which prohibited the entrance of heavy machinery that is typically used after an earthquake to lift the residues of rubble. This leaves Gaza with no way to lift all the destruction when many of its towns and neighborhoods have been pulverized.

Ahmed Abu Shehab, a civil defense worker, said that only two excavators exist in Gaza. However, due to the magnitude of destruction, rescuers and civilians have been relying on shovels, drills, or their own hands.

He recalled an incident when a three-story building had been targeted and destroyed, and by the time the excavator was able to reach the ground level to pull out Palestinians who were inside it, they had all died.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza consistently reiterates that "Israel" prevents rescue teams and ambulances from reaching the locations of the occupation's raids, leaving the martyred and the injured on the streets for days and more.

Since mid-November, calls coming from northern Gaza and Gaza City, where Israeli occupation forces are intensively stationed, have flooded the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to inform them of trapped, missing, injured, and killed Palestinians and ask for their assistance. However, Nebal Fesakh, a spokesperson for the PRCS, said there was nothing they could do because the IOF would not permit their mobilizations.

“Unfortunately, we just felt helpless because we were completely denied access to those areas,” she said. “Thousands of people are still stuck under the rubble, and now they’ve most probably died because it’s been so long.”

Moreover, PRCS announced two weeks ago that fourteen of its employees, whose current whereabouts are unknown, have been kidnapped and detained by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.

In a post on X, the PRCS noted that "The Israeli occupation continues to detain 14 PRCS members, whose whereabouts remain unknown. Their families and colleagues are deeply concerned for their safety, as there are reports of torture and humiliation based on testimonies from released colleagues."

Palestinians of Majd al-Krum in al-Jalil protest in support of Gaza

A massive demonstration was launched today in Majd al-Krum in occupied al-Jalil in support of Gaza and in condemnation of the Israeli genocide and forced displacement of its people.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, Hanaa Mahameed, this demonstration represents all active political parties in Palestine.

The slogans raised in the demonstration were: "The people of Palestine will not kneel to tanks and cannons" and: "No to genocide and forced displacement."

The head of the Higher Followup Committee for Arab Citizens Affairs Mohammed Baraka told Al Mayadeen that the demonstrations will continue from Kafr Kanna to Majd al-Krum and the Triangle next week.

He added that the blood falling in Gaza is "our blood" and in their demonstrations and actions, stressing that with their movement, they have broken the Israeli restrictions.

Hundreds of Palestinians took to the streets in the early hours of March 2 morning in the town of Kafr Kanna - an Arab village located in the Lower al-Jalil region in northern occupied Palestine - in a demonstration demanding an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The demonstration in Kafr Kanna is considered the first since the start of the war on the Strip last October and was called for and organized by the Higher Follow-up Committee for Arab Citizens Affairs in al-Nasirah.

It included participation from all segments of the Palestinian Arab community, including Muslim, Christian, and Druze religious figures, as well as politicians, intellectuals, and Palestinian activists, chanting slogans such as: "With our souls, with our blood, we sacrifice for you, Gaza."

In a statement, the Committee warned of the danger of the Israeli occupation's invasion of Rafah in southern Gaza and declared its absolute position against all forms of starvation, killing, destruction, and displacement.

The statement called for "an end to the Israeli massacres committed daily in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank" and for "the protection of al-Quds, al-Aqsa mosque, and all sanctities."

American youth favoring Palestinian views over Israeli in media: Poll

According to a new opinion poll by the Pew Research Center, young Americans have increasingly more favorable views of Palestinians than they do of Israelis amid the war on Gaza.

60% of Americans aged 18-29 had positive views of Palestinian people, while 46% preferred Israelis. On the other hand, 46% of young American adults see "Israel's" aggression on Gaza as unacceptable, compared to 21% who believed otherwise.

Young Americans have been at the forefront of mass protests across the US to protest President Joe Biden’s support for "Israel's" genocide campaign, which has now killed over 32,000 Palestinians.

A poll from The New York Times/Siena College back in December revealed that half of the American youth see "Israel" as intentionally killing civilians in Gaza.

Still, a Pew poll found that 48% of Americans were not aware of how many Palestinians have been killed after over 5 months have passed since the beginning of the war.

US media coverage has played a major role in the lack of dissemination of the correct information, and when information is reported, it is often skewed. It is quite crucial as most young Americans and youth around the world resort to social media as their main source of information.

Earlier this month, the Centre for Media Monitoring (CfMM) published its most recent report titled "Media Bias Gaza 2023-24," unveiling notable biases in Western media reporting.

A total of 361 TV news clips were identified where the terms "beheaded" and "babies" coexisted. Nearly half of these occurrences were observed on the two right-wing British channels Talk TV (27%) and GB News (20%), while Sky News contributed to 14% of the mentioned terms. Out of the 361 instances, only 52 demonstrated any substantial challenge, rebuttal, or questioning of the claims.

Most TV channels strongly emphasize "Israel's right to defend itself," overshadowing Palestinian rights with a ratio of 5 to 1, a framing of events highlighted in the report.

In Europe, an analysis published by RFI demonstrates that news of the war on Gaza is slowly vanishing from large French media screens, particularly the daily 8 pm prime-time news bulletin on channels TF1, France 2, and M6, and the runtime given for the matter is shocking.

Recent research from the Muslim Council of Britain's Centre for Media Monitoring also reveals the UK media's systemic bias in favor of "Israel" while reporting on the war on Gaza, Declassified UK reported.

'Israel' steals massive land in West Bank for illegal settlements

The Israeli occupation government issued an order on Friday to seize 8,000 dunams of land in the Jordan Valley, east of the occupied West Bank, with the decision signed by extremist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

This bring the total area of land further occupied by "Israel" in the West Bank in only 2024 to 10,640 dunams, after 2,640 dunams were seized earlier this year: 2,350 units in "Ma’ale Adumim", 300 in "Keidar", and 694 in "Efrat".

Israeli authorities are planning to construct hundreds of housing units on the occupied land, in addition to establishing industrial and commercial areas. The plan is expected to take about two years to complete and will require political approval.

This announcement came on the same day US State Secretary Antony Blinken arrived to "Israel" to discuss the war on Gaza.

Last month, Washington imposed sanctions on two settler outposts in the West Bank, and on several Israeli settlers involved in aggression against Palestinians.

Analysts suggested that this serves as further provocation to the administration of US President Joe Biden, as relations with the current government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have been tense in the past months.

The Israeli settler colonial project in the occupied West Bank aims to dissect and split apart historic Palestinian towns and cities through the installment of permanent Israeli settlements or farms that are illegally built on stolen Palestinian land.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Monday that the Israeli financial system is facilitating the expansion of illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank and entrenching the occupation of Palestinian territories.

The US sanctioning of the illegal settlements will affect donations from non-governmental organizations and individuals who seek to finance "Israel's" colonial project in the West Bank.

The newspaper conducted an investigation that revealed the pathways utilized by Israeli settlers to obtain mortgage loans, financed by the Israeli government, and build colonial outposts in the occupied territory. One such loan to construct a residential building in areas under the control of the "Israeli Land Authority" was awarded to the far-right leader of the Regavim organization, Yehuda Eliyahu.

A Palestinian gunman opened fire at a minibus near the settlement of Dolev in occupied Palestinian territory on Friday, reportedly causing no injuries. Israeli troops then pursued the suspect for hours, who opened fire from a forested area using multiple weapons, including a sniper rifle.

In addition to severely wounding Garfinkel, the gunman injured several other Israeli troops. The military later released footage it said showed an attack helicopter carrying out an attack that killed the assailant.

Aight, lemme grab the vibes ball

The Zionist Entity will be relegated to a Kosovo-like protectorate, surely full of controversy, under the watch of NATO led UN peacekeeping while they try to launder the whole thing by "Kibbutz-ing" it up. The Zionist politicos will fold obediently and throw the appointed scapegoats under the bus for some lengthy prosecution decades in the ffuture. There will be a massive exodus to Europe where the new "diaspora" "Israel lobby" will become even more unquestionable as they now becomes the more radical, still settler colonial, still supremacist, still perfectly accepted, version of Zionism.

The conflict will not stop because the Arab compradors are still loyal to western capital, so they'll sign some bullshit accords and the "peacekeeping" will quickly turn to warring on Iran "and it's proxies" for "opposing the peace". The narrative will go back to "Sunni vs Shia" and drift towards islamophobia tinged "War on Terror" as any further acts of resistance or cracks in US hegemony get painted as religious extremism sourcing from Iran.

Same Arab cuckholdry to western interests, but now with NATO's armies occupying Palestine and their navy parked nearby, for effect. Probably an early retaking of the war on Yemen, when the blockade doesn't end, but now by another "coalition of the willing" rather than KSA.

News is in.

Saraya Al-Quds - Tulkarem Brigade announces that it carried out an operation targeting 5 IOF soldiers in a vehicle at the Deir Al-Ghusun gate near Tulkarem, as a preliminary response to the assassination of the four fighters who were martyred in an IOF drone strike two days ago. A full statement will follow shortly.

Heavy gunfire is heard now in Balata camp, eastern Nablus as a march erupts in support of Gaza and in celebration of the Tulkarem operation, which led to a number of dead and wounded IOF soldiers.
Local sources reported that resistance fighters opened fire on the nearby Beit Furik checkpoint. [As a note, firing at checkpoints is a fairly regular occurrence and usually happens several times every day]

Saraya Al-Quds - Tulkarem Brigade:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
"Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people."
This is the truth of Allah, the Most High, the Almighty.
Praise be to Allah who has honored us with jihad, martyrdom, and prayers and peace be upon our faithful martyr Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
O masses of our righteous Palestinian people, O our people in Jenin and Tulkarem, may the peace of Allah be upon you until your hearts are reassured and your chests healed.
Here we are, appearing before you today, congratulating, rejoicing, and reassured. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, who destined for us to avenge the blood of your sons and take revenge for them.
With the praise and might of Allah, our steadfast soldiers in Saraya Al-Quds - Tulkarem Brigade, managed to infiltrate into our occupied territories near Al-Deir gate, and after careful monitoring, our fighters were able to set up a precise ambush for a "i10" car carrying an officer on duty along with three pigs. Our soldiers intercepted their path and showered them with blessed bullets, sending them to the torment, resulting in the killing of all of them and the overturning of the vehicle. Our fighters withdrew safely after eliminating them all.
This operation is a response to the assassination of our fighters in the Nour Shams camp, extending to the heroic Jenin camp and its martyrs, foremost among them the martyr commander Abu Shadi Al-Hawashin. We do not praise anyone before Allah, to send a message to the cowardly enemy that we are like one body.
Did we not tell you that what awaits you outside the camp is double what awaits you inside? And Allah has power over His affair, but most of the people do not know.
Saraya Al-Quds, Tulkarem Brigade.
The Covenant of the Truthful.

>Recent polling backs that surprising observation: A joint poll published by the Israel Democracy Institute last month found that 73 percent of Jewish Israelis between ages 18 and 24 identify as right-wing, compared with only 46 percent of Jewish Israelis over 65. Young Jewish Israelis are showing up to rallies and polling stations for the extremist politicians whose November electoral victory ushered in Israel’s farthest right-wing government ever.

IIRC they got back some hostages, namely through negotiations. The whole premise of the incursion into Gaza as it’s sold to the Israeli people, IIRC, is that they’re going to rescue their hostages with military force and defeat Hamas. That’s been their justification throughout the campaign—I still see occasional “bring them home” shit put up out here (outnumbered by Free Palestine stuff, thank God). The starvation campaign is justified by settlers openly saying “you won’t get food until you give us back the hostages”

If they refused further negotiations on the basis of “we gotta rescue our hostages” and end up killing a ton, then it makes the whole blunder worse.

National Resistance Brigades (Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces) spokesman Abu Khaled:
The Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces (the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine) confronted the "israeli" enemy positions and patrols, and destroyed 3 vehicles in the combat axes, in addition to causing several of its soldiers and officers to fall between dead and wounded. Here are the details:
Firstly: One of our combat groups confronted the "israeli" occupation forces in fierce clashes around Al-Shifa Medical Complex, using machine guns, hand grenades, and shells, and succeeded in targeting one of the enemy's vehicles with an "B-7" anti-tank shell, hitting its target accurately, causing severe damage to the vehicle, and resulting in several enemy personnel being killed and injured.
Secondly: One of the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces units engaged with enemy forces on Al-Wahda Street, on the outskirts of Al-Shati’ camp west of Gaza City. During this, they succeeded in detonating a high-explosive device on one of the enemy's vehicles, causing severe damage and causing its occupants to fall between dead and wounded.
Thirdly: The artillery unit of Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces targeted enemy positions on the Abu Mutaibeq axis in the central governorate with several heavy mortar shells, hitting their targets and causing severe damage in the enemy ranks.
Fourthly: Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces clashed with one of the "israeli" enemy positions in the Al-Qarara area northeast of Khan Younis, using machine guns and anti-tank and personnel grenades. Our fighters succeeded in targeting one of the enemy's vehicles with a "B-7" anti-tank shell, resulting in its burning and its occupants to fall between dead and wounded.
Fifthly: Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces clashed with enemy forces in the Al-Baraka area south of Deir Al-Balah, in the middle of the Gaza Strip, and targeted one of the enemy groups fortified in a building with a "B-7" anti-tank shell, which exploded inside the building, causing the enemy personnel inside it to fall between dead and wounded.

New details are revealed about the heroic operation of martyr Mujahid Mansour, in which he killed an IOF "elite" soldier and wounded 7 others.
Zionist military sources stated that Mujahid left his home shortly after midnight, preparing the area with shooting positions and rock barriers that would later protect him after he fired his first shot 5 hours later at 5:15 AM, luring the soldiers into the ensuing four hour clash.
Mujahid told no one about his planned operation. He carried an explosive device, which he did not use, and was wearing a high-quality jacket that offered additional protection.
He carried with him about 75 sniper rounds, indicating his preparedness for a long battle, reminiscent of the battle of prisoner Thaer Hammad also in Ramallah in 2002.
3 suicide drones targeted Mujahid. The IOF targeted him with 12 bombs during the clash. Mujahid was slightly injured, but he continued to fight.
With a single bullet, Mujahid killed a soldier 20 meters away. One by one, he wounded 7 others, including one critically.
Mujahid downed a drone with his rifle, staring directly at it. A helicopter entered the clash, which Mujahid opened fire at as well, and this helicopter fired the two missiles that led to his martyrdom.
With his years of military training as part of the Palestinian Authority's Presidential Guard, Mujahid moved with prowess. 10 years ago, he left his post, but he utilized these tactics in his operation, leaving the IOF incapacitated.
Mujahid left behind four children: Jihad, Falasteen ("Palestine"), Tahreer ("liberation"), and Hala, and he planned to have a fifth child, who he wanted to name Watan ("homeland").

Mujahideen Brigades - West Bank:
As part of the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, and in response to the continuous crimes of the corrupt zionist enemy against our patient Palestinian people, and its continuation of the genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip:
The Mujahideen Brigades in the Occupied West Bank - Bethlehem cell - announce their responsibility for the explosive operation targeting a bus of zionist settlers with a locally-made device near the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, on Thursday, corresponding to the 11th of Ramadan 1445 Hijri. This heroic operation resulted in the injury of no less than three zionist occupiers according to the enemy's admissions.

US official accuses Israel of ‘systematic’ sexual abuse of Palestinians: report
A senior US State Department official has accused Israel of “systematic” sexual abuse of Palestinian woman, an Israeli army general has said in an interview.

Brigadier General Amir Avivi said he was shocked when the person in charge of the Israel-Palestine file at the US State Department made this accusation during a meeting, reports the Jerusalem Post, citing a 103FM interview.

“This is absolutely disconnected from reality. But without hesitation, she said, ‘The UN presented evidence to the Israeli government.’ I told her, ‘Does it make sense that this phenomenon would exist and the media would never have reported on it?’ I wanted there to be greater awareness… about what is really happening in the US State Department,” Avivi was quoted as saying.

“When we meet with a State Department official holding the Israeli-Palestinian portfolio, every word she utters, as far as I’m concerned, is an official US position. Ultimately, she is a government official,” he continued.

As we reported earlier, Al Jazeera has spoken with a woman living near the besieged al-Shifa Hospital who said Israeli soldiers are raping and killing Palestinian women in the area.

Close-quarters combat ongoing around Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital
Both the Israeli military and Hamas are confirming another day of intense close-range combat in the vicinity of the besieged al-Shifa Hospital in nothern Gaza.

The Israeli military released bodycam footage from its soldiers engaging in a firefight in a four-story building near the hospital. It said they were shooting at a Palestinian fighter who was lobbing grenades at them.

The military wing of Hamas has also reported targeting Israeli soldiers and armoured vehicles in the vicinity of the hospital in the past few hours.

The Qassam Brigades said its fighters used an anti-armour shell to hit Israeli soldiers barricaded inside a building, inflicting casualties. It also claimed mortars were used to target soldiers, and said it achieved a hit on a military vehicle near al-Shifa.

Ground fighting is ongoing elsewhere across the Gaza Strip as well, with Hamas claiming hits on a Merkava tank and a D9 military bulldozer with Yassin-105 anti-tank shells northeast of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, and the Israeli army besieging the al-Amal Hospital in the south.

The Palestinian Authority, the US, and the IOF are united in their stance opposing the release of Palestinian prisoner and leader Marwan Barghouti, private sources told Arabi21.
Marwan, a member of Fatah's Central Committee and founder of Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, has been imprisoned for over 20 years due to his role in the first and second intifadas.
Barghouti enjoys overwhelming support in simulating polling, beating out every candidate. As such, his name has appeared at the top of lists for a potential prisoner exchange.
While the US and zionist entity's reasons for not wanting to release him nor include him in a prisoner exchange deal are obvious, the reasons for Fatah's Palestinian Authority are less so. Mahmoud Abbas believes that releasing the pro-resistance Barghouti will cause a split within Fatah, undermining his position as president and control over the PA.
It should be noted that Barghouti has been subjected to repeated transfers, isolations, and beatings since October 7th. In the second week of March, he was assaulted twice in isolation until his eyes bled.

The IOF and Shin Bet claim to have seized a mass shipment of advanced weaponry (including anti-tank missiles) intended for the West Bank, claiming that it originated in Iran.
They claim that Palestinians in Lebanon working with Hezbollah and the IRGC facilitated these transfers.
The seized weaponry included:
2 BTB15 perimeter spray charges
5 YM-2 model Iranian anti-tank mines and 5 detonators
4 M203 grenade launchers
15 kg of C4 explosives
10 kg of Semtex explosives
13 shoulder-fired missiles
15 RPG launchers
16 RPG-7 rockets + explosives
25 hand grenades
33 M4 rifles
50 pistols
Despite this, weapons transfers to the West Bank and Gaza are continuous, and the alleged seizure is evidence of this.

A massive protest in support of the resistance breaks out in the Jordanian capital of Amman for the second day in a row, in spite of the repression and arrests by Jordanian security forces yesterday.
The goal of these protests is to besiege the American and zionist embassies for their complicity in the zionist genocide, to break the siege on Gaza, and to oppose normalization such as the land bridge and gas and vegetable deals with the zionist entity.
All political groups in Jordan announced a mobilization today to besiege the zionist entity in protest of the zionist crimes, including the siege of Al-Shifa Hospital, the rape of women, and the violations of Al-Aqsa.
Protesters chanted, "All of Jordan is Hamas!"
"All of the people are Hamas! Let the world know!"
"In width and length, Hamas all along!"
"Forward, forward, O Hamas!"

<Red Crescent: Gaza’s al-Amal Hospital out of service after Israeli siege
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says it has managed to evacuate staff, patients and dead bodies from the besieged al-Amal Hospital in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis.

The organisation said it coordinated with the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to evacuate 27 medical staff, six patients and one patient companion.

The organisation was also able to get two bodies out of the hospital, namely of PRCS volunteer Amir Abu Aisha, killed by the Israeli military, and a civilian who was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers.

“PRCS Al-Amal Hospital, in Khan Yunis, is out of service after the occupation forces forced the hospital staff and the wounded to evacuate it and closed its entrances with earthen barriers.”

was listening to a pod and it turns out Israeli special forces armed and trained the perpetrators of the Guatemala genocide after the US got blocked by congress. they actually referred to it as “Palestinazation”. the technique was to separate men women and children lock the men up and then kill the children in front of the women who they then abuse all in earshot of the men who they then burn in whatever building they are being held. very much like the dirlewanger stuff from come and see movie and also very much like what the US did with strategic hamlets in vietnam. in each of these cases they also used computers and statistics to decide which villages to eradicate, like israel says they are currently doing with AI. lots of similarities with jakarta too

i keep finding myself returning to the whole thing about former nazi SS training the green berets. western special forces are actual real international nazi death squads. they are multilingual and taught guerrilla techniques as a force multiplier because their goal is to train up local dissidents into some kind of terror police to enforce imperialist ends and this technique is like some kind of calling card that comes up again and again

it makes me wonder who did it before the nazis and japan, where did they get their techniques from and i have a suspicion its related to the pinkertons and/or british

interesting article: Kier Starmer as UK DPP unilaterally declared a visit by Israeli officials in 2011 a special diplomatic mission to avoid acting on an arrest warrant issued against Tzipi Livni in 2009. The UK government also changed their Universal Jurisdiction laws to further protect Israeli war criminals. Emails regarding these decisions fully redacted.

https://www.declassifieduk.org/censored-keir-starmers-emails-about-israeli-war-crimes-case/

Kind of puts all the bullshit about Benny Gantz being at risk of arrest into perspective: The Five Eyes spent six months bending over backwards to ARM Israeli war criminals. Where would they get the spine to ARREST them? Israel not filing the paperwork to protect their officials only made the UK fill it out for them. Netanyahu could probably fly to the Netherlands and do a Chippendale act out front of the Hague with a papier mache nuke for a codpiece and the entire ICC would wait patiently for the security council to issue an official veto.

No neolib appeasenik willing to say "rule based global order" instead of "international law" is going to lock up Israeli officials no matter they do. Effort should be put into maintaining consumer pressure to boycott, sanction, and divest from their apartheid loving asses not the UN spectacle or ridiculous legal fictions.

The compromised officials story was a joke too, that list should be exhibit fucking A but they were dumb to write it: what country would actually arrest Israeli officials? Iran? Cuba? South Africa because they would look pretty hypocritical if they didn't? Consider realpolitik for half a second, all you'd get for your trouble is US sanctions and two jets full of CIA pukes in polo shirts coming to fuck your government and country up.

https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20200721-israels-list-of-compromised-officials-suggests-their-guilt-of-war-crimes/

I refuse to believe there's a satisfying legal resolution till I see it. For all the high minded liberal theory and performative hand wringing the law says whatever is expedient for the authorities, be they state or capital, with no exceptions. Kids understand this intuitively when they get kicked out of stores for "wearing backpacks" and not for being teenagers or black. How fucking dumb do we have to be to think the law means anything as adults?

We can probably blame Abrahamic religion. Isiah 13.16 describes those exact crimes. But the origin of extermination warfare and war rape disappears into pre-history. Even if it's temporary, retaking the conflict, if an actual ceasefire is to be observed and the humanitarian needs to be provided for, is going to be really hard. Methinks that is why they dragged their feet to now. And why it's still a win even if the resolution may be noncommittal handwavy stuff.

Either Israel/US have to openly defy it, or, somehow surmount giving it pause AND restarting after two weeks. This is a problem, because to get to this point, for whatever reasons, NATO has pretty much had to concede a bunch of the pro-genocide points , in order to justify not opposing the ceasefire. In about two weeks, they have gone from "Israel does nothing wrong" to crocodile tears. So to retake the Nakba2.0, with renewed support, would be a higher degree of complicity, having acknowledged the crime.

And IMO the plan is to throw Netanyahu's admin under the bus when it comes time to do the next "peace accords" with the Arab states ( to reaffirm the status quo). Not to tie themselves further to the scapegoats by going back in to sponsor what they are currently describing as intentional manmade starvation, to displace the population, as a result of an explicit policy of siege.

So IDK, I'm betting on there being no real pause at all, blaming Palestinians for breaking the ceasefire or some such tropes. With concessions on letting more aid in, if nothing else to save face, conditioned on being handled by Zionist/NATO friendly distributors.

>IBM and the Holocaust: The Strategic Alliance between Nazi Germany and America's Most Powerful Corporation is a book by investigative journalist and historian Edwin Black which documents the strategic technology services rendered by US-based multinational corporation International Business Machines (IBM) and its German and other European subsidiaries for the government of Adolf Hitler from the beginning of the Third Reich through to the last day of the regime, at the end of World War II when the US and Germany were at war with each other.

>Published in 2001, with numerous subsequent expanded editions, Black outlined the key role of IBM's technology in The Holocaust genocide committed by the German Nazi regime, by facilitating the regime's generation and tabulation of punch cards for national census data, military logistics, ghetto statistics, train traffic management, and concentration camp capacity.[1]

>On the urban front, the armed forces began to utilize more sophisticated technology to combat the insurgency. With help of advisors from Israel, a computer system was installed in the annex of the EMP behind the presidential palace in 1980. This computer used a data analysis system used to monitor electrical and water usage as a means of pinpointing the coordinates of potential guerrilla safe-houses. In the July 1981, tanks and shock troops were mobilized for a massive series of raids to shut down the guerrilla bases operating in the city. Thirty ORPA safe-houses were raided in Guatemala City in the summer of 1981 according to G-2 sources.[161] Large caches of small arms were located in these raids, including 17 American-made M-16s which had previously been issued to American units in Vietnam in the late 1960s and early 1970s[162]

>In 1981, the Army's School of Transmissions and Electronics, a school designed and financed by the Israeli company Tadiran to teach such subjects as encoding, radio jamming and monitoring, and the use of Israeli equipment was opened in Guatemala City. According to the colonel directing the school, everything in it came from Israel: the "teaching methods, the teaching teams, the technical instruments, books, and even the custom furniture…designed and built by the Israeli company DEGEM Systems." At the opening ceremony the Israeli ambassador was thanked by Chief of Staff Gen. Benedicto Lucas Garcia for "the advice and transfer of electronic technology" which, Lucas said, had brought Guatemala up to date. Calling Guatemala "one of our best friends" the ambassador promised that further technology transfers were in the works.Perhaps the most sinister of all the equipment supplied by Israel to Guatemala were two computers. One was in an old military academy and became, as Benedicto Lucas called it, "the nerve center of the armed forces, which deals with the movements of units in the field and so on." The other computer was located in an annex of the National Palace. The G-2 have a control center there, and, since the days of Romeo Lucas Garcia, meetings have been held in that annex to select assassination victims. According to a senior Guatemalan army official, the complex contains "an archive and computer file on journalists, students, leaders, people of the left, politicians, and so on. " This material is combined with current intelligence reports and mulled over during weekly sessions that have included, in their respective times, both Romeo Lucas and Oscar Mejia Victores.

However, the program's tactics were brutal, leading to the deaths of thousands of innocent non-combatants. Through interviews with former CIA operatives and military personnel, as well as Vietnamese survivors and witnesses, "A Computerized Genocide" exposes the true extent of the Phoenix Program's atrocities. The documentary reveals how computer technology was used to compile lists of suspected Viet Cong members and their sympathizers, who were then targeted for assassination or imprisonment without trial.

>In reality, the ARPANET was an offshoot of the US counterinsurgency program in Vietnam in the 1960s. And its central purpose was to facilitate that program and enable domestic surveillance efforts undertaken by the US Army and the CIA during the Vietnam War.

https://malwarwickonbooks.com/secret-military-history/

>According to Levine’s research, the internet emerged during the US’ involvement in Vietnam through the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA). ARPANET, as it was known then, was used to surveil the entire Vietnamese population and conduct brutal counterinsurgency campaigns in Vietnam and surrounding countries. It didn’t stop there though. ARPANET made its way back to the US and into the hands of the Pentagon and various other agencies, which used it to spy on American political movements as far back as the 70s.There were even protests at MIT as early as 1969 that lambasted ARPANET as a tool of the US empire. This history forms the basis of Levine’s thesis: The Internet emerged first and foremost as an American counterinsurgency tool.

I think the latter wholeheartedly.

>The Americans don't have much at all to gain from Israel.

>Their representatives are all bought out at the start of their careers by AIPAC (I really need to read Mearsheimer BTW).
>US politics and their population are incredibly ignorant of foreign policy let alone how the empire functions.

>The Americans don't have much at all to gain from Israel.

I feel like I should clarify this point: the American state and the American public has little to gain from Israel. However the structure of Israeli aid packages feeds huge sums of money into resource extraction, tech, and the military industrial complex through some mutual back scratching arrangements. There are also American billionaires that are heavily invested in the energy sector in Israel and Israeli military actions including the current Gaza war tend to capture energy resources that can be used to foster partnerships with western energy, and mining capital, which in turn funds media and "lobbies" the American government.

While these deals are lucrative on an individual basis, substantively they cover nothing that the US couldn't go out and steal, or sign into existence directly without the Israeli state. I think the conspiracy is just an Omerta code that the billionaires and politicians follow to not upset the complex structure of bribes, dodgy laws, and contracts that keep everyone paid.

I know I'm only describing colonial economy in depth, but my point is that geopolitics hardons get tangled up in silly fictions like "national interest". I think we can't afford to approach issues using post-hoc rationalizations invented by nepo-baby liberal "scholarship". If we want to influence our world we need to operate more like the feds and endeavor to understand the networks of influence and finance that facilitate the occupation and genocide.

The Elbit protests and the block the dock actions did a lot, and they did it mostly by highlighting embarrassing business partnerships. More could be done to expose the diamond trade. RedHat is in a curious situation, not sure how they square their partnerships with the IDF and Israeli banks with their outspoken diversity and equity policies.

>Picking up where part one left off, this program begins with an examination of the role of SS veterans in the formation of the Green Berets. Formed initially under the auspices of the CIA, the Green Berets grew under the CIA stewardship of SS Brigadier General Franz Alfred Six, SS Colonel Emil Augsburg (like Six, a veteran of Hitler’s “Final Solution” to the “Jewish Problem”) and Michael Achmeteli, a White Russian and Nazi collaborator who worked closely with the SS and was viewed as an expert on the former Soviet Union. The Green Berets were formed against the background of the guerilla warfare that raged in Eastern Europe and the former U.S.S.R. for years after the formal conclusion of World War II. The program then highlights the deliberate sabotaging of the de-Nazification of Germany after the war. Derailed by political and economic forces sympathetic to fascism, many of which had enthusiastically supported Hitler and ᴉuᴉlossnW before the war, this failure resulted in the return to power of the same industrialists and financiers who had supported Hitler. Even more importantly, Nazis and Nazi collaborators were put right back in positions of political power in Germany

>More specifically, Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Colombia not only received weapons but also specialized training by Israeli advisers on counter-insurgency operations, including training of the infamous “death squads” that exterminated Guatemalan villages believed to be strongholds of resistance to military dictatorships adopting a declared ‘scorched earth” policy. Israel had seized West Bank and Gaza in 1967 and its own experience in crushing Palestinian resistance was deployed in distant Central America with full effect, especially so in Guatemala. In Guatemala, between 1954 and 1984, more than 100,000 civilians were killed in an attempt to “pacify” the rural population consisting mainly of Mayan indigenous people that make up about 41% of the country’s population. The program called “Beans and Bullets” destroyed traditional Indian society and culture, resettled the displaced population in “model villages,” and secured the oligarchic patterns of land ownership. Israeli experts wanted to transplant their ideas of the kibbutz style farming by force. The military squads forcibly recruited peasants into an army of armed informers, giving food and weapons to them. Those who refused to join up were declared subversives and killed, often brutally, as mass graves discovered later have shown. That Israel had been deputed to do US dirty work in third world countries becomes clear from the 1981 MoU signed between the two countries which explicitly says that US would allow third world countries to spend part of their arms purchase credit in buying weapons from Israel. After the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon and the massacres at Sabra and Shatila Palestinian refugee camps, Israeli prowess in mass killings was admired by Guatemalan elite which called for “Palestinianisation” of the country’s Mayan Indians.

>The Israeli military’s scorched earth campaign against the Palestinians inspired the Guatemalan right-wing military to replicate the tactic against the country’s rebellious indigenous Maya population through a brutal process of their "Palestinianisation" with its forced “integrated nationalism”, according to experts.

https://www.trtworld.com/magazine/israel-s-role-in-war-crimes-committed-during-the-guatemalan-civil-war-44285

>Integral nationalism sought to be a counter-revolutionary doctrine, providing a national doctrine that could ensure the territorial cohesion and grandeur of the French state. Its worldview was based on several precepts. Firstly, method: the principle of "Politics first!", that is, that the nationalist, political Catholic and monarchist movements must focus their efforts on changing the political and constitutional order, rather than accepting the victory of radical republicanism and displacing their activity into social or cultural pursuits.

>Integral nationalism has sometimes been considered one of the sources of inspiration for Salazar's regime in Portugal and Francisco Franco's in Spain.

>The nationalists who emerged in Galicia following the First World War, much as in the rest of Europe, adopted the form of nationalism known as "Integral nationalism".[18][nb 1] According to this ideology, the nation was held to be of the highest absolute value, more important than social class, regions, the individual, religion, etc. To this end, members of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) were urged to "force their way into all areas of national life", such as institutions, societies, villages and families. Politics was seen as a Darwinian struggle between nations for survival, rendering conflict unavoidable and justifying any means that would lead to the victory of one's nation over that of others. In this context, willpower was seen as more important than reason,[19] and warfare was glorified as an expression of national vitality.

A report by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor released on 23 March has documented the Israeli army’s deliberate use of Palestinian civilians as human shields, to protect its forces and military operations inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
This comes several days after the Israeli army began its assault on the medical complex on 18 March, resulting in hundreds of deaths, injuries, and arrests.
Additionally, dozens of residential homes surrounding the complex were destroyed and set ablaze after being raided.
TESTIMONIES:
A Palestinian, K.F, said Israeli forces attached cameras to him and three other young men, giving them remote orders to inspect rooms inside Al-Shifa. He was made to do this for several hours before being forced to evacuate the complex with his family.
An elderly man in his sixties, M.N., said that his son was forced to enter sewage areas underneath the hospital, and witnessed others being made to stand in front of Israeli forces and vehicles at the entrances of the complex to fortify and prevent their targeting.
The wife of a nurse at the hospital witnessed her husband being used as a human shield to open doors to sections in Al-Shifa Medical Complex for several hours, before he was told to evacuate the hospital towards the city of Deir al-Balah. Her husband’s fate remains unknown.
Several families near the complex reported that Israeli forces used detained young men to enter homes and force Palestinians to evacuate to central and southern Gaza. A woman from the "Arafat" family reported that the Israeli military sent a detainee in his late thirties, stripped of his clothes except for his underwear, to inform them to evacuate their home within 30 minutes, threatening to bomb it over their heads. Following their evacuation, they witnessed several others in similar conditions.
